The Lodge offers self-catering accommodation, and sleeps 8 people, with two double rooms with a queen bed in each as well as a deck area. There are also 4 single beds in the upstairs loft.

Your accommodation at Waterwood lodge includes:

  • Two luxurious bathrooms with a bath and shower.
  • Open plan lounge, dining room and fully equipped kitchen.
  • Lounge and living room area, with a radio and C.D player.
  • Entertainment facilities include a T.V and D.V.D player, as well as a video player and DSTV.
  • Outside covered deck area that leads onto a splash pool with marvellous views of the bushveld.

The following facilities are available at the Lodge:

Gas stove with oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, fridge and dishwasher. New line gasbraai and boma with braai (BBQ) facilities. All wood is provided.

Linen

All linen, bath towels, swimming towels, kitchen towels and cloths, as well as dishwasher liquid are provided.

HOUSEKEEPING

The Lodge is serviced once a day by our friendly and helpful staff.

EXTRAS

Water is drinkable from the tap. There is cell phone coverage.

FUEL/GASOLINE

Is available in Vaalwater (the nearest town - 22 km from the lodge).  The town also has a well stocked grocery store and liquor store.

No matter what you choose to do, the spirit of the bush and the freedom of nature are at your doorstep.

For those wishing to go on an open game vehicle, our game viewer
 with driver is also available and can accommodate 8 people.

RATE: R500.00 PER HOUR.

If you enjoy fresh air and a little adrenaline, bring your mountain bike and enjoy easy farm trails
or for the more adventurous - our more challenging routes.

Mountain bikes are not provided

Enjoy nature up close and personal on a guided or self-walk, and witness the
tranquility of the bush while sitting at the various watering holes.

Activities - local surrounds

Should you wish to enjoy horseback across the wild with the animals,
this can be arranged prior to arrival with one of the local horseback trail operators.    

For those who cannot leave their clubs behind - there are golf courses within an hours drive.
